SMS FAQ: Folders missing in a new CAP installation

Problem:
When you create a new site, the corresponding Client Access Point (CAP), has a standard set of folders created.

They include CAP_<sitecode>\clicomp.box and CAP_<sitecode>\clifiles.box. Under each of these folders are subfolders that reflect what client agents are activated... typically there are 8 if all agents are active. Each folder is supposed to have the same subfolders as far as my experience has shown.

I have a new site installed where the ..\clifiles.box has only the HINV folder for Hardware Inventory. Why aren't the rest there?

The site was installed 5 days ago; same NTFS permissions throughout the tree structure; I disabled, waited, and re-enabled the client agents to no avail.
INBOXMGR and INBOXASST logs show nothing out of the ordinary.

Anyone any ideas?

Resolution:
Delete the contents of the CAP folder/share - NOT the folder/share itself. This will force InBox Manager to rebuild the CAP.
