There have always been discussions about whether it's better to pay for technical training or just learn on your own. I have always been one who likes to dig and figure something out on my own. That being said, I also know that I need resources to help me along. So, do I take a class for a fee or browse the net and see what I can find on my own? Well, I have been to tons of classes because I used to work for a company that gives training. Most classes just don't give the depth and have the experience of real world enterprise application. When I look to the community for answers, I am surrounded by real world solutions and great resources from people who have been there before.

These days, I don't think I will ever take another class again. Online training should be free and available to everyone who wants it. If you can't find a resouce for free these days, your're just not looking hard enough. I understand why sites charge money for the content and I'm sure it's a great business, but you will NEVER see me charge for content on my site.
