Rod asked recently why Yahoo! was grabbing his RSS feeds. Good eye! Looks like Steve Rudel at Micro Persuasion has captured some screen shots of a new Yahoo RSS Search Test Page (currently down). I hope they get a handle on this whole RSS search thing. I am truly tired of pages of spam in my blog search results!
Can't wait for Chris Mosby to get his Comic Book Blog going. He has a great sense of humor and it should be an enjoyable read. Subscribe here.
An article at c|Net actually makes some good points about browser "safety." Art Manion points out proper precautions one should use when using the Internet with any browser.

If you want to see what is really telling, though, take a look at the comments. They ridicule anyone who dares to suggest non-IE browsers may be unsafe or vulnerable. Reminds me of the kids who would steal cars with air bags and drive them into walls for a thrill. Their sense of invulnerability got some of them crippled and killed. Or the guys smoking low tar cigarettes maintaining they haven't killed them yet!

I hope those folks never have their machine compromised, but I, for one, won't be surprised is they do.

Fred Wilson, a Venture Capitalist from Boston, has updated his Blogging 1.0 post from February this week. In the first article he points out the differences between blogs in 1997 and today. In the current post Blogging 1.0 (continued) Fred points out just how well these Blogging 2.0 sites are doing and where they are making their money from.

This just confirms my belief that blogs and blogging are not just fads. It also underlines just how inexpensive it is to start a successful company these days and how quick the world is moving.
