A great community member and a man I consider a good friend lost his mother this week. He has written a beautiful eulogy, but is in a lot of pain.
Though I still have both parents, I've seen cancer take too many wonderful folks these past few years way before their time. I'm glad you got to experience a good hospice. They do help add dignity to the inevitable.
Our thoughts and prayers are there for you, Craig.
And you, of tender years,
Can't know the fears that your elders grew by,
And so please help them with your youth,
They seek the truth before they can die.
Teach your parents well,
Their children's hell will slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams
The one they picked, the one you'll know by.
Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,
So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.
