If you can then thank a teacher! But, if you can read this, it is even more important to thank Rod Trent for working tirelessly to get this site back up, and Ron Crumbaker for jumping in and putting the blogs back together. • Serenity ~ You Can't Stop the Signal no spoilers, I hope

I finally have a brief moment to update you all on the Serenity Preview I went to on September 27th! I asked the ticket ripper for the Universal Pictures representative, and was...

  • I'm One of the Chosen

I have a confession to make and I hope I don't get my geek card pulled for it. I totally missed the series Joss Whedon's Firefly when it was being shown on Fox back in 2002. I didn't even know it existed! Here I was, struggling through the first season of Enterprise (which I later learned...

  • MSNBC - Katrina Interactive

Nifty feature on the MSNBC website. Combines video, pictures, text, and Blog entries into an interactive map. I didn't bumb into too many ads, but if they leave them in on the MSN video page it is no different than CNN running ads during their news casts. Let's focus on the real problem: People are dead...

  • No More Safe Browsers

An article at c|Net actually makes some good points about browser "safety." Art Manion points out proper precautions one should use when using the Internet with any browser. If you want to see what is really telling, though, take a look at the comments. They ridicule anyone who dares to suggest non-IE...

  • Trying w.bloggar and RSSBandit

I'm trying a new (for me) freeware News Aggregator called RSSBandit . While trying it out, I noticed it has an option to post news items right from the reader using w.bloggar so I decided to try it as well. So far, the experience has been good! I'll let you know how it goes moving forward.
