Hi All, A short story first (bare with me): I have been using BDD/MDT for a long time now. Used MDT to create an Image of Vista/XP and it's working like a charm. My deepest respect for the MDT guys to get it this far (from BDD 2.5 to now). But now SCCM has come with is OS Deployment feature, and the MDT guys made SCCM integration. I know they had to :). If I look at the MDT capabilities when using its own database you are offered a lot of features, we have developed a complete MDT Environment with the use of the Database from MDT. Deploying XP/Vista systems based on location (keyboard settings), make/model (certain software needed, also included only needed drivers for these systems), Disk partitioning based on Chassis type, Roles (add base software for different clients). All based on LTI and ZTI (OSD). I am really missing these options in SCCM. Yes, I saw you can do some of these with a lot of hassle/retesting/reengineering. My idea is to keep my current Workbench (for creating Images and for customers NOT using SCCM, LTI). But here are my issues. 1. Has anyone found articles on how to use the MDT database in SCCM. I am working on it but help is appreciated. 2. Has anyone found stuff on how to import task sequences from MDT into SCCM (Including all custom tasks I made to it, tried it but all failed), as mentioned the Idea is to let MDT be the core and edit TS files there and afterwards update SCCM. But is that possible? Can you also export to MDT? Guess not! 3. Has anyone used the Workbench to create images and then import them into SCCM (Including the TS, this is where I repartition based on Chassis type). How do I reuse MDT. Hope someone is able to help me. Or give me some suggestions. Regards, Ton p.s. I am posting this article on several forums just to get more answer/idea's, sorry if it's in the wrong one.
