Just noticed a slew of these in my SMS_COLLECTION_EVALUATOR logs. It appears that a string in a file may need to be fixed...

[42000][6522][Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]A .NET Framework error occurred during execution of user-defined routine or aggregate "xp_ClientHealth":
System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Documents a

Please refer to your SMS documentation, SQL documentation, or the Microsoft Knowledge Base for further troubleshooting information.

I've tried break open the stored procedure but it looks to be locked.

Has anyone seen this before?

Just got off the phone with Support... I'm concerned about the work done with you around 6th (in this space) and the custom work done then by Reto... Looks like maybe there's a pathing issue (see the ref to C:\Docs&Settings... in the log?)...

Unfortunately Reto is out of the office for the next two days, so having him follow up won't work for you this time... so, pls open a support case and the guys I just spoke to will have details ready as well for the person who picks this new case up for you in the morning (London time)...

Hi Sandy,

I don't think this is very serious issue. The Collections should still work, the Assembly is missing the path to the default log file.
You need to make sure that the path %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\1E\WakeUpSvr exist on the SQL server if you want to have the logfile for the Computer Health Collections.
I am sorry that we missed this during our first case, it's mentioned in the script but I should have pointed it out.
Regards,
Reto

Hello Reto,

I checked my SQL server and the WakeUpSvr folder was missing, only the old reference folder, SMSWakeUp50 folder was there. I went ahead and created the WakeUpSvr folder to enable the logfile creation.

In addition to this error message, I’ve noticed that although all my 1E Health collections are created, none of the WMI queries work. Further checking shows that none of the 1E views appear to be in the database. I’ve checked all the views for something like SMS_R_WAKEUP and it doesn’t appear that they are there. Do I need to somehow add them to my site server’s WMI store?

The SMS_COLLECTION_EVALUATOR log displays this for each 1E collection it tries to evaluate.

SMS Collection Evaluator failed to evalute some of the query rules for collection "Memory threshold exceeded" (DA000233).

Possible cause: Inventory or Resource classes referenced in the query do not exist at this site, resulting in a SQL error.
Solution: Review the immediately preceding status messages from this component about query rule failures. Enable the collection of the missing Inventory or Resource information at this site.

Possible cause: SQL Server problem.
Solution:
1. Review the immediately preceding status messages from this component about SQL Server errors.
2. Verify that this computer can reach the SQL Server computer.
3. Verify that SQL Server services are running.
4. Verify that SMS can access the SMS site database.
5. Verify that the SMS site database, transaction log, and tempdb are not full.
6. Verify that there are at least 50 SQL Server user connections, plus 5 for each SMS Administrator console.

If the problem persists, check the SQL Server error logs.
