To install a Reporting Point on primary site server do I need one or both of the following IIS components?:

Under Add / Remove Windows Components
Application Server - Details (button) - ASP.NET
and / or
Application Server - Internet Information Services (IIS) - World Wide Web Services - Details (button) - Active Server Pages

I see in the technet library, prereq docs they refer to "Active Server Pages" but in refrences to Server 2008 how ASP.NET must be downloaded... so could it be when they are refering to IIS on Windows 2003 with "Active Server Pages" is really the newer ASP.NET?

Thanks for any input,

Ray

I believe you actually need both.  .NET Framework is required, which I believe is ASP.NET.  Also, the IIS Active Server Pages needs to be enabled as well.

I think you're right, since the technet library consisitently references 'Active Server Pages' - I'll install both...

Thanks!
