Hopefully a quick question :-).  I'm using SMS 2003 SP3.
If someone could remind me with some information. Does an advertisement get re advertised to a client that already received the advertsement if the SourceVersion of a Package changes?  I thought I heard or read one time that if the Source Version on a Package increments to 5, 10, 15, etc, that package would get readvertised? Or am I dreaming?  I suppose it would have something to do with the Advertisement setings?

Thanks For any help..

Jerry

Yes you are dreaming. It will not re-advertize unless you tell it to. But what I think you are thing about is after 5 Delta the whole package is resent.

What does it mean that replication on distribution points only supports five deltas?
If a site or distribution point is more than five versions out of sync with the source files, it will receive the entire package.

By the looks of your icon, it looks like you are dreaming too.   So this looks like it doesn't change in SCCM2007 as I have SMS 2003 SP3.  Interesting and Thanks
