I have a new Eval of SCOM running. I have tried to push the agent to 2 servers, and both remain in pending for days. I have rejected and retried, same deal..

Any advice?

Hi,

check the folowing
1) disable windows firewall on computers in which you are installing agents
2) add your account in to Local administrtor group (your account should be member of local administrator group) on machine in which you are installing agents

please let me know whether the above solution works (hopefuly step 2 will work )

Check the Operations Manager log on the target servers (it will be the same place as your app and system logs are). It should give you some clues. If it doesn't exist, your install never got there. Are you running SP1?

Figured it out, somone else here had installed it previously. I had to uninstall the agents and reinstall them.
