Hi,

I am having problems deploying batch files with SCCM. When I set them to run as logged on user it runs fine, when I set it to use the administrative account it hangs and nothing happens. In the advertisment status the last line is "Program started" but nothing happens at all.

I have trimmed the batch file to just have a pause entry so I can see when it runs, the program is set to not be hidden so I can see if it runs - nothing. I just don't understand why it would run as locally logged in user but not as admin.

I have tried running from DP, with a drive letter and downloading into client cache, nothing seems to work. Has anyone got any ideas please before I lose my mind!

Try to put cmd.exe /c in front of your command line

example:

cmd.exe /c test.bat

Don't forget to update your DP's
