Sorry, didn't notice this thread until just now. If memory serves, the Lenovo hotkey install would not, absolutely would not, install unless we checked on the 'allow user interaction'. We simply could not make that thing completely silent. There was something in the installation code that required interaction with the GUI. The end user didn't have to do anything, but we couldn't prevent them from seeing the install. Coming from an environment where we tried not to bother the user with little details like software installation :-), we tried hard to hide that--simply couldn't do it. It's been a while, so I don't remember if it had to run in user context as well. I don't think so; but it definitely needed to be visible.
