Hi there, I have a package that I have been testing on 1-2 machines and it runs fine, the package exe file is going to change and so is the location, can I just edit the package and point it to the new location and run the advertisment or do I need to go through the whole thing again and create new package etc.

You should able to keep the same package, but make a new program for it and that will re-run on the clients that you've already run it on once. If you've ever tooled around in the registry SMS package execution history section, you'll notice that the package id's can have multiple entries below them, one for each program.
