We had a primary site failure and had to rebuild the primary site server, including the database. The server name, IP address, database name, and service pack is the same as before the rebuild. When the rebuild / install was complete, the clients began reporting back and all seemed to be working fine. There were some inventory reporting issues (b/c there were modifications to the old sms_def.mof) and so I applied the new default sms_def.mof to all of the machines. Now I'm getting warnings in the client config manager status stating "SMS Client Configuration Manager cannot install the Advanced Client to machine "<pc name>". This platform is not supported by the Advanced Client. The Advanced Client requires Windows 2000 or newer Operating System." All of our machines are XP SP2 so I'm at a loss to what is going on. I tested deleting the cert on one of the machines in question, and checked out the ccmexec.log. I see this error... "HTTP ERROR: URL=http://<MP Server.domain name.local>/ccm_system/request, Port=80, Code=12032, Text=ERROR_WINHTTP_RESEND_REQUEST" The only MP that we have is the primary site server. We have no other MPs, or secondary site servers other than the primary site server (only DPs as server shares). I ran MP troubleshooter and everything came back ok. Active Directory has been extended, permissions are fine and machines are able to discover the SLP, MP, etc... the clientlocation.log on the client seems to be finding everything ok (site code, MP, etc...) Any help would be greatly appreciated...
