Hello everyone. I have an SCCM test lab setup with a remote installation of SQL. I have my SCCM server as my one and only default management point. However, when I try to install a client it looks in AD and find that my MP is the SQL server. I cannot locate anything in AD or on either server that points me to a cause for this.

Also, when assigning roles like SLP and Reporting point does it matter which server I assign it to?

Thank you for any advice.

Nevermind. I had the FQDN setup wrong.
