I am doing a side-by-side replacement of a SMS 2003 SP2 environment to SCCM SP1 R2. I deployed the SCCM client via an SMS advertisemnt and the clients appeared to have installed correctly. All the clients in my primary site are reporting correctly. I have a secondary site with a proxy management point installed at a remote location. In this location only about 1/3 of the clients are showing in the SCCM console with an assigned site and approved status. The other 2/3 are not showing as having the clients installed. When I looked at the ClientLocation.log the "Assigned Site" is the primary servers site code and the "Current Management Point is" the secondary site server name. I reviewed the LocationServices.log log and I see 2 warnings on both the clients that are reporting in and the clients not reporting in. 1. Failed to refresh trusted key information while refreshing mp list. 2. Unknown task LSProxyMPModificationTask in non-quarantine - ignoring. When I use the SMS Client Center tool it is show that the clients have the correct site code, management point and proxy management points. I then checked the ClientIDManagerStartup log. I did not see any errors and the SMS Trace utility did not show any red lines. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be happening or how can correct the problem. The machines are not reporting to either the SMS 2003 or the SCCM site at this point. Thank you in advance for any help.
