Guys,

Is there a way to create a dynamic collection based off of last hardware inventory date? I want a create a dynamic collection of all machines that have not run a hardware inventory in 45 days.

I can base the collection off of workstation status last hardware scan, but I need to set a hard date (ie: " 20041121" ) for the collection to work. Is there a way to set it to " Older than 45 days" anywhere else?

Thanks

One more question for you Mark.....With this new lovely information you gave me, I changed my mind, I no longer want to make a collection but simply a stored procedure to automatically delete my old information.

Do you know exactly how the DATEDIFF function works? The article has the value set to >30 to get 14 day old machines. What would I set it to for 30 or 45 day old machines? I believe it may be a typo in the article and that it is set to 30 days, not 14.

You' re right (not my article), should be 14 for 14 days.

Datediff syntax is datdiff(interval, date1, date2), where the interval is set to day in the script.
