There is a WMI fix for this or just do what I do, ignore the error..

The reports appear to run correctly, so I guess as long as I don't have to change a setting, I'll be OK.
Thank you

Peter

I had a similar problem after upgrading from SMS 2003 SP3.  It turned out to be an incorrect entry in the SCF for the site.  I ended up having to manually edit the SCF and add a missing line.  Here's the instructions I put together for doing this.  Be cautious though, bad modifications to your SCF can take the site down!

To modify the SDF, stop the SMS_EXECUTIVE and SMS_COMPONENT_MANAGER services, edit the file, increment the SCF version on line 6 and then restart the service.  Check sitectrl.log for errors.

Reporting Point.  Fixed by adding two properties to the SCF.
ROLE<SMS Reporting Point>
PROPERTY <ReportingPointFolder><><SMSReporting_C01><1>
PROPERTY <Protocol><><><0>
PROPERTY <PortNumber><><><80>
