Hi,
I need to create multiple collections, each one of them needs to list the clients with the default gateway ip specified in the criteria. How can i create 200 such scripts since i require to create one collection for each default gateway (so that monitoring is based on the deefault IP)?

Thanks kpark! The link is definitely informative; i shall take some time to read and understand this scripting methodology. Just that it would be great if there was a script already available for creating a collection based on default ip gateway! :-)

I'm just adding a warning here - if your distributing software based on IP subnet then every time someone visits that office they unexpectidly have software install.  We used to do this but our folks started traveling more and more and this began causing a lot of trouble (symantec antivirus installing and pointing to the wrong server, fax server client installing and pointing to the wrong server, etc).
So now I base all my "base" collections on AD OU.. then I make a subcollections and advertisements..
