One of my distribution points is not working correctly. When clients try to access the DP they get the following messages over and and over again in the DataTransferService.log:

Failed to send request to /SMS_DP_SMSPKGE$/PRE0000A at host TESTDP01
Error sending DAV request. HTTP code 0, status ' '
GetDirectoryList_HTTP mapping original error 0x80072efd to 0x800704cf.
GetDirectoryList_HTTP(' http://TESTDP01/SMS_DP_SMSPKGE$/PRE0000A' ) failed with code 0x800704cf.

Sounds like an issue with IIS, have you run an iis lockdown tool on this box? Try removing the DP, uninstalling IIS then reinstalling IIS and the DP.

Look at the section concerning "Shortage of Outbound TCP Ports". Hope this helps.

Was this issue ever resolved? Did you set the maxuserports registry key on your DP? I"m seeing a similiar issue.
