Hi Everyone

I am currently busy deploying new screensavers to all pc's using SMS & not group policy, which will disable screensaver settings for the user. I've created 3 basic files:
screensaver file.
registry file which will configure screensaver settings.
batch file which will copy the screensaver and apply the settings.I tested it and it deployed the screensaver. But here's my question. Is there a way (using SMS) for the screensaver to come up automatically by default? After I've deployed the screensaver, I noticed that you still have to manually select it. Or can this only be done by group policy?

this is a per user setting, and will have to be run as such
set this reg key with the name of the screen saver you want, and then once you have the reg file, you can use SMS to do the reg import (regedit /s)
HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Control Panel\Desktop!SCRNSAVE.EXE

We did the same thing

http://sms-hints-tricks.blogspot.com/2007/03/logged-out-background-and-screen-saver.html

Our enviroment has the screen saver tab disabled.  We created our our screen saver that allowed the user to add pictures to it.  Here is how we did it.
