Hi all, I really need some help.  We are upgrading from SMS 2003 and currently have SCCM up and runing doing a side by side. We have SCCM 07 SP1 running Wsus with Sql 2005.  I have all my security set up.  When I try to run security updates or deploy software nothing ever happens on the 2 machines.  One machine I have the sccm client installed the other I have the sms client installed pointing to my sccm server.  When I go to package status I see that Sccm has downloaded the package to the 2 computers in question.  I can even go to my cache and see yes the package is sitting there but nothing ever runs.  Any place anyone can direct me to fiquire out what is going wrong I would truly appreciate it..  Thanks in Advance.  James

Thanks for the response.  Boundaries are not overlapping.  I have SMS 2003 set up and on another server I have Sccm installed with a different site code The Sccm box I am still testing with and just have these 2 machines that I am trying to get working.  We are in mixed mode.  I have one Primary and that is it.  Thanks for any help.  James

Thanks for the reply Hector.  I have attached  the execmgr.log from the machine that has the Sccm client on it. When I look at the console under advertisment status it says both machines recieved it but it does not say it failed or even started.  It is waiting for something but what? My adversment start was set for 9:09 am this morning and the mandatory assignement was set for 9:14 am this morning.  Any direction you or anyone else can point me to would much appreciated.  James

Hector thanks for the help yesterday.  Weird thing is this morning when I came in my packages kicked off when I logged in.  I checked and I had the manditory set.  Yesterday I rebooted several times thinking something was holding it up and manually ran a machine policy and retrival.  It worked on both my test machine with the sccm client and the sms 2003 client.  I also had it set to run whether or not the user was logged on and I always just reboot my machine but did not kick off until I logged in.  Does anyone know any settings I might have missed or logs I could check on the delay.  I am thankful it at least ran just need to fiquire out the time delay.  Thanks again.

Just a chance-Default for mandatory security update installation is 2 weeks. Take it down to 0 hours and the installation should take off.
