That remote control front-end was originally written for SMS 2.0.  I did (when I was on SMS2003 sp1 I think) update it with the correct files for SMS2003.  So I think I do have it somewhere.

fyi, around SMS 2003 SP2, I tossed it.  It simply wasn't as cool as Ron Crumbaker's Web Console.

Holy smokes!  Have you blogged some of those buttons?  like show applied GPOs, or DNS Lookup Service, or Keep Newer Java Only or Show Sys TimeZone.  Some of those sound really cool.  Where does Client Troubleshooter go to?

And, for some reason, I really want to be able to guess a number between 1 and 63... (why, I don't know...)

I don't think it will be Ethical of me (unless paid LOL LOL) to blog about something that i didn't create...

For example the Client troubleshooter is something that you pointed me too under my old account.
The others came from Rod Trent, don Hite, john Nelson, greg Ramsey, Sherry Kissinger (MVP), Jan, SourceFourge and many other wonderfull people on this site.

But what I can do is email or ftp, to anyone who is interested, the files and scripts of Ron's console modifcations that we made to fit our needs ..

Again... none of it is my work...

Hi Meenta,

hopefully you are subscribed to this thread, would you be willing to share those additional buttons you added, just got this up and running in my test env, some of those buttons look really neat.

Maybe we can create a thread/individual forum for customisations to Web Remote Tools, what do others think?

I'll see if I can twist George's arm.  Ricky knows all about how that works.

I appologize to all of you and yes, I'll ftp the files this week, we've been very busy lately, vacation, down economy, layoffs, projects etc... I haven't been checking this site lately ...sorry...

I won't have time to edit or point out what you need to change such as server name and file path...but I'll be happy to answer issues as you face them while implementing the tools.

For this site good I'll do anything...please give me couple of more days...

I just sent you the zipped file, you'll need to change the file to .ZIP

good luck and thank you for blogging about it, and please make sure to give the credits to the Authors of the scripts and the tools and not I.

I can't promise to go thru every button this weekend; but hopefully I'll have some time to do a couple of the more interesting ones and blog them.

I just want to say thanks for creating, obtaining and soon to be blogging on this. Ron's done an incredible job with the tool and this thread show's the capabilities and scalability of it.

Well done!
