If not, is there any third party products supporting wake on LAN?
Is wake on LAN integrated in SCCM 2007?
Thanks a lot.

Start here for SMS2003

ConfigMgr has WOL built-in, but most of the 3rd-party utilities you would purchase are generally more robust and easier to configure and manage.

We wrote our own WOL tool that hooked into the SMS 2003 database.  That way we can force a wake up for patches and such.  Any tool would work.  But now we are on SCCM.  WE are working on a new SCCM WOL tool to jump over routers effectively.

thanks. I wrote a simple tool to test wake-on-LAN based on Magic packet, which seems cool.
I am considering writing a tool to meet our business needs. Could you please provide me further info on the Tool?
My question is: although we can retrieve MAC based on IP, but IP is always changing when DHCP is enabled. So could I know how to resolve this issue?
I know we can lengthen the lease time of IP from DHCP server, but it is not a good solution when there are hundreds of desktops in one subnet.
Anyone have idea?
Great thanks.

2 things about DHCP.  1st We put a reserve IP on most of our client machines so they basically have a static IP.  2nd, we run a HW inventory at lunch each day to make sure we have all the latest IP addresses for those that are not reserved.  Granted we loose some but it very very few.  The program looks to the SMS datebase and grabs the list of computers.  We select who we want to turn on (typically at night during patch tuesday or weekend)  Next we have a client in each subnet that accepts a encrypted packet with the the list of computers in its subnet that it needs to seen a WOL to (we don't want client to accept just any packet for WOL forwarding.  We can't send across routers since our network people block it.  Plus we have computers all over the state.
