Good Morning All,

New to the site.

I was wondering if there is a way to automate the download/run dialog boxes the users get when installing software from add/remove programs?  When a user chooses "Add" we want it to download and install automatically so the user doesn't have to choose "Download" then "Run"...

Those additional steps seem to be more of hassle to the user than anything...

Any ideas on that?

dont quote me on this but i think you can do this by suppressing notfication, With manditory advertisements you can preschedule the package and make it available before the manditory time, it will precache it for you when policy is applied to PC

Okay, these applications are not mandatory advertisements and are just advertised optional installations.  I'll check into the options for that and see if I can use that to get it to work.

Thanks!

Odd.  Doesn't want to work for me.  I checked all those options in the "Program" within the "Packages" and I still get the dialog boxes to "Download" and "Run".  Very odd.  Wondering if there is another setting I need to enable in order for that to work.....

It seemed to go away once I tell the advertisement to run from distribution point, instead of "Download and run locally"
