Hi having problem to get my packages downloaded from the DP point in SCCM 2007, its working if change so the package run directly from the DP Point.
I don’t see any error on the log files locally on the client; I suspect the problem is in the file applicationHost.config on the Server. I have searched in the file if the file extensions in the package I trying with is blocked but i cannot see anything that could cause the problem.
 If I try to add a file name with test.test extension and true it works. It’s strange, I want every file extensions to be allowed to downloaded I have too many packages to administrate it.
We are running W2008 and SCCM 2007, with MP and DP roles and some more.

good question.. i was testing that awhile back but never got around to it.. you might want to try the /fileExtensions.allowUnlisted:True switch, see
http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/354/how-to-configure-webdav-with-request-filtering/

I cannot get it work correctly; it needs to be someone more out there that has same problems?
I currently use these settings.
            <requestFiltering>
                <fileExtensions allowUnlisted="true" applyToWebDAV="false">
                </fileExtensions>
                <verbs allowUnlisted="true" applyToWebDAV="false" />

And get following error in my IIS Log file.

2008-11-19 16:11:50 192.168.0.4 HEAD /SMS_DP_SMSPKGD$/XX100012/ProgramFiles/ WinZip/WZ.PIF - 80 - 192.168.0.10 Microsoft+BITS/6.7 404 11 0 218

It’s worked for that file, next file WZTUTOR.HLP J. It’s impossible for me to add all my file extensions for my packages.
AllowUnlisted="true" looks like it doesn’t work..

Updated information, if i collect all files to one folder instead of multiple folders in the package it seems to work.

So there need to be something that i can change to get this work.

Strange that no more has the same problem as me, or is there not anyone running Windows 2008 and SCCM with Advertisement Download and Execute.

Ok, so you didn't have so many file extensions?
Someone more out there must have a solution for this; we cannot be alone with this issue.
