I am having an issue adding drivers to driver packages.  I have the drivers stored on the server and successfully added to SCCM.  However when I go to add them to a package it gives me the error: "Some Packages can not be updated.  Please see log file for more information."

I have seen similar issues out there and the fix for them was permissions.  However I have had an Administrator try it and he receives the same issue.

Here is some of my log file.

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

Make sure that the original source location of the drivers when you imported them still exists.  In the add drivers wizard at the top it should show the location of the drivers when you imported them.  Make sure that path still exists.

Make sure you have NTFS rights on the share and in the SMS console.

I saw something similar in the past, reinstall WAIK did help in that case.

Thanks for your input.

Yes, the driver path still exists.

Yes, I do have NTFS rights.

What about share permissions? The error message above is very explicit. Also, note that the package isn't being created by you, its being created by the SMS Provider. Thus the system account needs both NTFS and share permissions. On the share, you need specify the actual computer account (ConfigMgr$ for example) and for NTFS you need to specify "SYSTEM" if the SMS Provider is on the same system.

Thanks for your reply.

I have verified that the permissions are there, however still no luck.
