When I try to install office 2003, I get the following message:

he program for advertisement "BPA20004" failed ("BPA00009" - "Office"). A failure exit code of 1603 was returned.
User context: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Possible cause: Systems Management Server (SMS) determines status for each program it executes. If SMS cannot find or correlate any installation status Management Information Format (MIF) files for the program, it uses the program's exit code to determine status. An exit code of 1603 is considered a failure.
Solution: For more information on the exit code, refer to the documentation for the program you are distributing.

Any help that can be provided will greatly appreciated

Unfortunately, 1603 is a general failure message. Do you have logging enabled for this installation (if you're using the MSI, it's /l*v c:\whatever.log , for example). If so, you can check the log file and see exactly why it's failing.

I do not have loging enabled. For my package I used the setup.exe, should I have used the pro11.msi
