I am trying to setup a Cisco 4510 in SCOM and cannot seem to figure out how to get my interfaces listed on the device. I would like to monitor thresholds on the interfaces for packets sent and received but am having a hard time getting this done. After discovering my switch, all I see is the name and Healthy status that it is up but I need to monitor down to the port levels on the blades.

Any help or guided reading / examples would be great.... Thank You!

well discovering interfaces is a bit tricky, I wrote the detailed explanation as blog post at Monitoring Network Switches and Interfaces
the article refers to Cisco 3560 but I believe you can adapt the example mp to your needs
