Hello, I must deploy an application over 500 pc's when the user isn't logged on. I want to block the user during the installation process. That mean the user cannot open a windows session while the ccmexec service install the new application. Can somebody help me ... ? Thanks, Grég.

I don't think you can use SMS to prevent a user from logging on after a package has started.  You may be able to use AD to prohibit logon for a group of users during the time you plan to deploy, then change it back.  What's the problem with a user logging on while a package is installing.  Usually configuring the package to run as admin and not selecting the Allow user intervention prevents any profile specific issues with installers.

What is the problem with users logging on during installation?

I found an interesting behavior under XP (don't remember Service Pack Version) which may be a possibility:
If you (save to another place and then) delete the contents of the Value "Userinit" under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon", then the users can't log on, or they get logged off immediately.
Don't forget to restore the content at the end of your script...
Try this out and let us know!
