Does anyone have a good tutorial for creating a XP or Vista image? I've heard of people using Bart PE and Symantec Ghost but have never seen it at work. I am looking for a user friendly app possibly opensource that I can create an image and deploy it to a small group of workstations. Any ideas? Tks

Try lookikng at the microsoft deployment toolkit (MDT): http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/desktopdeployment/default.aspx. It's free and works very well.

You may want to try Clonezilla - it's open source and works similar to ghost and ghostcast server however the images are typically hard drive size from what I've seen.
