Hello All,

I have installed a SCCM primary site in virtual enviorement for testings. I have enabled the AD System Discovery and AD System Group Discovery. AD Schema has been extended and site has been published in AD. I have also enabled the Automatic Client Push Installation and i have configured the site boundries by IP Subnet (192.168.16.X).

Now my all three clients are discovered from AD and i can view them in All System Collection. But only site server is assigned to site and have SCCM client installed, all others are not assigned to site. When i look in to the properties of System resource i found that IP Subnet Information is not discovered for those system resources . And for site server system resource IP subnet information was discovered and so it is assigned and installed as client as well.

Now please let me know what i have missed due to which IP subnet information is not available in system resource properties ?

The first thing I would check is that the subnet / mask is properly defined in Active Directory and linked to a AD Site.  ConfigMgr needs this to verify the subnet before it does an assignment....
