You "should" be able to go directly to http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=74689 from any web browser, and download the .cab file. Once you get it remember to right-click properties on it, and unblock it if it blocked. Then just add it to your source folder where the old .cab file lives, and manually update distrib points for the package. Reasons why it may be failing (at least ones that I've encountered in the past, anyway): 1) The Firewall team need to allow the ip address of my syncing server through the firewall without user credentials -- because of course I've changed the Sync Program to run under System context, not user context (right? you did that, right? Makes it easier for you in the long run) 2) Our Internet Service Provider caches content, and the file on the other end of that link above was cached context, so it was last month's cab file--even though microsoft released a new one, I couldn't get it from work. (Workaround (for me anyway) when I was under the gun, was to ask someone on our technology team in a different state that I knew went through a different cloud go get me the file, and drop it up on the network for me to steal, then I did the above steps to get the updated .cab out there.)
