ITMU Sync not working

About 3 months the Sync tool stopped syncing with the server. I have to manually download the new cab ebvery month and place it in the correct place. The command line doesnt work and the wussyncxml.log file hasnt updated in 3 months. Is there anywhere else i can check for errors?

here is the command i run that doesnt do anything:

Syncxml.exe /s /unattend /site s1076** /code s10 /package s1000002 /target \\s1067**\pkgsource
 
any ideas?

what does your sync log say on the sync server?

so if you manually run the advert.. what does the execmgr.log say

Hmmm .... seems that log hasnt updated in 3 months either. both log files were last updated on 7/7/2008 and everything was green then

so no errors whats the schedule set to?  you should see activity regarding that adv. when manually executed

the schedule was set for once a week but i uped it to once a day today. i know its odd that nothing happens when i run it manually .. you would think the logs would at least update with an error when i run the command line.

What are the consequences of reinstalling ITMU? I dont want to break anything for the desktop guys. Would it break existing advertisements?

well it will not run until the time specifies, update the time to run "now" and refresh policy, when policy is refreshed run manually again

Thanks cortez. I will rate the post. i went to the control panel applet and immediatly realized that the client had been removed from the server although the SMS DB was still reporting it as an active client. After manually reinstalling the client, forcing the machine policy grab, and re-running the command it seems to be working. Well, it isnt working but the log files are at least updating. Now i need to resolve a permissions issue to the \\server\pkgsource share. the wussyncxml.log file says Unable to write to the share and then program aborted. I will take a look .. i assume its a permission issue although it was working before. Thanks again for your assistance.
