Does anybody know the command line parameters(and documentation) for InstallAnywhere packages. I have CGTech Vericut 6.1 application that needs to be packaged. It appears that the installer is Java based(not 100% sure), but the file to start the installation is an .exe and need to prepare an answer file and install the package with no user intervention via SMS 2003.

Below are some InstallAnywhere runtime command-line arguments

  • -? = For help
  • -i MODE = to set UI mode. I know of 2 modes: Silent or console
  • -r = to generate response file
  • -f = to specify response file

hope that helps

i saw these when i was trying to package my application here, but not one of them worked. they would all just bring up the application gui just as if i has called the setup.exe by itself
