I know you can install the SCCM client via group policy, the question that I have is there an option to not install if the client has been detected. Or should just apply this policy and leave it for a period of time until I feel everyone has been installed.

Best way in our opinion is to not use a policy that just says install it without question, but rather to run a startup script via GPO that does all that yummy logic for you and also fixes prerequisites and problems for you first.

could you provide a sample startup script that I could use. I am not familar with writing scripts that is why I was going to go the route of deploying through group policy

Quick quesiton, I am using my own "version" of this script that I downloaded and modified quite awhile back but I was interested in looking at the one that Brian Mason said in that article that he "uploaded to myitforum on 10/30". The article doesnt contain a link to that, only a link to the one at DudeWorks. You happen to have that link?
