ok, hope someone has gone through this pain.... Network and security team have come up with a secure wireless network for our district and home offices - they want me to configure laptops to be able to connect when visting the office to hook up to network (and for users in office that go into meeting so they dont have to find a live port).

Certificate and settings have been provided and I think I have the certificate working by using

certmgr /add \ \server\thecertificate.cer -s CA

but now I need to add the settings for the wireless access settings.  I came across the M$ setupSNK.exe (wizzard for home users to set up a thumb drive to configure all their computers to hook up).  When you go through the wizzard it  creates the files and I modified it per required settings - but when I go to run it on my machine i get the message that this computer is part of a domain and will now exit the wizzard.....

help?

There is a GPO that you can use to setup wireless information. Try this

If you have intel based wireless you can use the intel wireless client, which allows you to create an admin install that will configure the wireless adapter, i push that out through a script.

Also been testing the Cisco Secure Services client, which is a nice MSI install and also allows for wireless communication.

The problem with the windows client is that it doesn't keep admin profiles or allow for them, so you can't make your corporate wireless alwasy on top or the first one to connect to.  Intel and Cisco solutions both allow for that.
