Hi

I have some strange symptoms with some of my SCCM clients.

Site can be discovered, Components are only installed (not enabled), only Machine & User Policy visible in Actions tab

Other clients on the same subnet doesn't have errors, only a few...

Further error logs:
CAS.log - Software Distribution Site Settings for the client are missing from WMI
GetSWDistSiteSettings failed with 0x80004005

PolicyEvaluator.log - Failed to trigger Machine settings update 80070057

ClientIDManagerStartUp.log - Failed to find the certificiate in the store

ScrUpdateMgr.log - CCM_Sourceupdateclientconfig doesn't exit in WMI

ClientLocation.log and LocationServices.log looks fine - AD Site + MP are located
Permission on the MachineKeys directory are OK...

I'm running mixed mode

Any input?

Thanks Nico

The error:
"CAS.log - Software Distribution Site Settings for the client are missing from WMI"
Is normal to see when a client is first installed.

Are these machine re-imaged recently or new builds?  Just wondering if they could have duplicate GUIDS in SCCM.  Check the conflicting records node.

Hi William

No conflict records

It's indeed one of my test machines that gets re-installed often, but I removed it each time
out of the SCCM database to avoid duplicated GUIDS and obsolete clients.
