We are currently using Kixtart as our login script editor. All our logon scripts are in kixtart. We are looking to consolidate our various departmental logon scripts that we have been using/modifying since early 2000 and create a new common script.

Should we migrate our scripts to VBscript?

I know Kixtart  has been here since the Novell days, but is there any real advantages of VBScript over Kixtart? Or should we just keep them in Kixtart? Any other logon scripting editor suggestions?

Thanks

The only real advantage of vbscript is that it is native to all post Win98 MS OSes.  No client to install is nice, but I would not feel compelled to rewrite just for that reason.
