Hi All,

Quick question regarding mst files that has me stumped, sorry if this is rudimentary but I'm new to packaging in general.

I've got a vendor supplied MSI file that I do not want to edit. I have two MST files, one for isolation and one for installation response. I have a requirement of a single MST file only so I can't simply deploy both MST files.

Is there a way to merge the two MST files into a single MST file covering both response and isolation WITHOUT manually editing the response MST to simply add the isolation table in?

Thanks in advance.

You can apply 1-st transform to vendor MSI. And save this as 2-nd msi. Then to 2 -nd MSI apply 2-nd transform and save this as 3-rd MSI. Further using the utility msitran.exe make a difference between vendor MSI and 3-rd MSI - as a result receive a transform,  you also wanted.
