This morning we noticed that one of our servers running an Operations Manager agent was running low on disk space.

Although both parameters for disk space had been reached, OpsMgr did not generate an alert. When we rebooted the agent, an alert was generated immediately. Further testing on two other servers showed an identical problem. On both occasions, OpsMgr sent an alert as soon as the agent was restarted.

There are no errors in any of the event logs and OpsMgr appears to be working normally. We are also receiving alerts from other servers. However, given that we've got an identical issue on three servers, we're now wondering how many systems are affected and why it's happening. Restarting all of the OpsMgr agents isn't an ideal solution, as we have over a hundred servers monitored.

Has anyone come across this issue before?
