Hi Guys,
I set an alarm clock for saturday 12:00 & Sunday 12:00. Ive checked all the wakeup reports in afr but none list any wakeups from 6/6/09 which was saturday. Do alarm clocks register in afar as its not a manual, collection or advertisment wakeup?

How can i check the alarm clock was successful in executing?

cheers

No access to AFR at the momen so not sure what sttistics report migh help but... I'd look at the wu and nwm logs to see what was going on around that 12:00 timeframe...

Hi Ed,
I presume you mean client logs?.

i set an alarm clock for 12:00 on saturday & sunday. in the logs on one PC I have no datees for 7th whcih was sunday so that alarm clock defernatley didnt work.

on the saturday I have this log but its for midnight. was there an issue with alarm clocks in NW5.5 setting alarms of at the wrong time?

yeas client logs... I meant to examine the logs to see if in fact it woke up as expected, and then went back off later on... or, did it never wake up at all?

Hi Ed,
Thanks for getting back to me.

It never woke up at all. I phoned support today & its down to the alarm clock only waking sleep or hirberanted machines. mine were turned off.

I have been advised if I install the admin console & link to wakeup I can wake machines (from power off) on alarm clocks.
