I'm trying to deploy a New server OS to a brand new (no os, not in SCCM dB)server. I'm using the MDT process and have that part completed. When i boot with the cd, i'm getting the "not registered with the site" error. how can i get around this error? I don't want to have to manually enter new boxes into the db (who would?).

I am not familiar with the MDT entirely, but try adding the bare-metal subnet to the SCCM Boundaries as an IP Boundary. Then add the computer to the SCCM database using the Computer Association by importing a single computer. This should ensure that the Computer Name and MAC are recognized and the boundary is set for the newly imaging computer.

I know in the SCCM\PXE only deployment you can get that error if it does not know where the new machine belongs in the domain.
