I am delighted to announce that we have now launched our NightWatchman Console and it is available for immediate download from our website:

The Console provides the following benefits;

1)      It allows customers to simply create and maintain the new AFR grouping structure that we implemented in NightWatchman 5.3 (both organisation and location groups)
2)      It gives customers visibility of the machines that have reported into AFR and to simply drag & drop them into the correct reporting groups
3)      It empowers customers to create power policies (including Windows power schemes) and apply them to any group of machines
4)      It integrates fully with NWM and WakeUp. Policies can include scheduled WOL events, so customers can wake machines up in the morning, or set up overnight maintenance windows.
5)      It doesn’t require SMS/SCCM in the environment.
6)      It looks great too!

Anyone customize the NWM Console import scripts to create groups based on SMS/SCCM collections (using the SMS/SCCM database) rather than from AD OU's or AD Sites?

We have our primary site server (sccm) on a virtual infrastructure so WOL isn't activated in the console. Can your program wake up a machine on a scheduled time even if the server is a virtual one?

SCCM on Virtual Server should not impact it's ability to send out Wakeups.
The fact that it's grayed out means 1E wakeup was registered as a wakeup provider during install.
This can be activated afterward in SQL or you can simply uninstall/reinstall Wakeup and make sure you check the "Register with Nightwatchman Mgmt Center". The Nightwatchman Console Service will need to be restarted.
