.NET Framework 2.0 SP1 (required for the report console and web service websites, must be installed in addition to .NET Framework 3.5 SP1)

.NET Framework 3.5 SP1

Curious, I was thinking 3.5 was including 2.0 framework?
Why installing 2.0 then 3.5?

For reasons best answered by Microsoft, the dot.net releases are not necessarily cumulative in nature, so v3.5 does not incluude everything that was in 2.0

We opened a case last fall to PSS and they was saying 3.5 was including 2.0 but not 1.1. If you install 3.5 then you will see 2.0 in ARP. Very curious.
