Huge problem! When i install a client computer with BDD2007, all goes well but on each client computer i can find all the drivers of every diffirent type of computer which are in the "Out of box Drivers" in BDD2007. At the moment this is 1.45 Gb that will be copied on every client.  i thnik that that's not the way to do it.  Can someone help me to change this and just have the drivers of that type of pc in the c:\driver folder on the root.

Thanks in advance

Quck question: Where are you getting the 1.45GB of drivers.  Is that the actual size of the folder being copied or is that the size of the source folders containing the drivers?  I ask because most drivers are under 100K in size and that would mean you have one heck of a lot of drivers.  The driver "files" that you download from vendors usually have a lot of fluff in them like setup programs, readme documents, etc. that aren;t actually part of the driver and thus aren;t copied into Out-of-box drivers and thus not copied to the system.

If this is still a big deal, a good practice to use is outlined in here: http://blogs.technet.com/deploymentguys/archive/2008/04/17/driver-management-part-2-mdt-2008.aspx.

Most of the drivers in c:\drivers is de source folder of the drivers.  There are a couple of folders that had to come from elsewhere.
