We are running a SMS 2.0 site, and we have the following
problem.
I added a new secondary site to our organization, and it
seems that al the packages that where already there are
not working.
How ever if I create a new package it' s working fine.
I checked the following.
1 Are the packages on the new dist. point (yes)
2 are the .ofr files in the offerinf.box (yes)
3 are there .ins files (only for new packages)
Then I checked the offermgr.log file and found the
following.
Package UTR0007D is not ready, will not offer clients
offer UTR20089
Package UTR0007F is not ready, will not offer clients
offer UTR2008B
Package UTR00080 is not ready, will not offer clients
offer UTR2008C
Package UTR00081 is not ready, will not offer clients
offer UTR2008D
Package UTR00082 is not ready, will not offer clients
offer UTR2008E
Package UTR00083 is not ready, will not offer clients
offer UTR20090
Package UTR00083 is not ready, will not offer clients
offer UTR2008F
Package UTR00084 is not ready, will not offer clients
offer UTR20091
Package UTR00085 is not ready, will not offer clients
offer UTR20092
Package UTR00086 is not ready, will not offer clients
offer UTR20093
Package UTR00087 is on at least one distribution point,
it' s ready to be offered
Package UTR00088 is on at least one distribution point,
it' s ready to be offered
Package UTR00089 is on at least one distribution point,
it' s ready to be offered

It' s bin like this for days
Does anyone have a clue what I can do to fix this.
Thanks.

Because there aren' t that many packages there, I think a quick fix would be to go into each of those problem packages, and remove/redistribute them to that DP (server).

I just posted a small portion of the log, there are about 120 Packages.
I already tried redistributing them to the DP but that doesn' t fix the problem.
The only thing that seem to work is creating new advertisements, but then everybody will get the packages installed again.

Have you tried to run the stopjob.exe utility from microsoft and then re distribute the packages? We had this problem all the time.

Check your mail for it. You must run this from the site where the packages are created and distributed to other sites.

I fixed the problem.
What I had to do is, update all distribution points with a new version of the source.
A refresh of the distribution point is not sufficient.
Thanks for your help.
