Hi ,
I have a really annoying problem!

I cannot copy packages to other distribution points that are not the SCCM server itself, I get "install pending" but nothing changes for days!

I was checking the distmgr.log and didn't see anything special. I have also checked the smspkgd$ folder in the distribution point machine and didn't see anything changed. The only thing that might be an idea is "Package package_ID does not have a preferred sender."

I read several articles on the net but didn't find anything that helped me solving it out.

Does anyone has any idea what more can I check?

Thanks a lot!

Does the SCCM server have permissions over your servers that you are using as DP's?

Is the primary a server a Windows 2003 box and the other DP's 2008 by chance?  I've run across a similar issue if it is.  At one point there was a hotfix being worked on for it.  The easiest way to fix it is to rdp into the machine and reset the NIC.  Or if you have console access disable and enable the NIC.

See this thread for additional info.

MS was working on a hotfix at one point, but I never found what the Kb was for it.

Thanks you all and sorry for the delay , but the problem was because the DP were configuted as BDP.
After removing the distribution point role of the site system and adding the role again, but not configuring it as BDP , solved the problem.
            Thanks a lot:)
