I am using SMS 2003 SP3 and when I run a simple SQL query from the query analyzer I get back multiple rows when I think I should only get back one row. The query is as follows:

Select * from v_MeteredFiles mf where mf.MeteredFileID = 8541704

I think there should only be one metered file id associated with each Metered product or rule. However, the view returns six diferent products and rules for this one ID. Can someone tell me if the metered file ID should be unique for each product or software metering rule?

Is so, how would I go about correcting the problem?

There are 6 different rules associated with the FileID so I am not certain which one originally created it. However, I have noticed that the File Name or Original File Name of the six rules contain the phrase "Not applicable". This phrase is also listed in the Metered Filename field.
