Depending on the kind of installation you've made, you probably have some features within Office set to "install on demand". This means that the component doesn't get installed in first place but as soon as the user requires the feature, Office will install it. Therefor it's looking for the source where the installation occured, in your case the DP. When installing products like Office, you should always define an alternate source for the installation files because they're also required when installing Office service packs. When you remove the source from the DP, there's no chance for Office to install additional features or do a self repair. Either you re-distribute the Office package to your DP and leave it there as long as you use Office 203 or patch the registry keys to define an alternate source. This can also be done when installing Office and using an mst file where specific settings are already made. You can use the office resource kit to create such a mst file.
